Council is the governing body of our church. Article 5 of Christ Lutheran Church Bylaws says that the council shall
consist of at least twelve members: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, financial secretary, pastor and six liaison
members to the standing committees. These positions (except pastor) are elected by the congregation at the November
or December congregational meeting for the following term year. Council meets regularly on a monthly basis, but can
have special meetings called. Council members shall, through the power of the Gospel, lead the congregation towards
its purpose and mission in their personal worship, witness, learning, service and stewardship.
